Probus Club of Swindon
We meet every other Tuesday morning at 10.00am at the Croft Centre, Marlborough Lane, Old Town. A lot of our members have had professional or business backgrounds but not all. The club motto is to look out for the lonely man, who might miss the company of work colleagues in retirement.
We have very interesting talks, usually accompanied by projected photographs, covering a wide variety of subjects.
£40 per annum for 24 Meetings
We offer friendship to all and break at 11.00am for coffee and biscuits, included in the membership fee,before resuming our Meeting and close at 11.45am.
We have occasional day trips and short breaks and an annual lunch for our Ladies and Widows
55yrs or over (no upper age limit) Men only but a couple of times a year we invite wives to our meetings. The Croft Centre has a lift for the infirm. There is ample free parking at the venue
