County Ground Bowls Club A small friendly club located close to the town centre between the Football Stadium and Tesco's on Ocotal Way, Croft Sports Centre Sports and Community Centre offering wide selection of indoor and outdoor facilities. Third generation rubber crumb astro turf facility. 5 badminton court sized sports hall. DAYTIME JAZZ A popular and dynamic dance style with a mix of exciting footwork, sharp movements and funky beats. A great way to improve fitness, balance and co-ordination and have some fun! Disabled Golf Association The Disabled Golf Association aims to facilitate access to golf, for disabled and impaired people in England. Disabled Swim Lessons A swim session for those with disabilities, taken by a fully qualified swimming instructor, who will give support and guidance to swimmers. Equine Assisted Learning & Therapy Enrichment programmes and learning skills for Autistic and Special Education Needs young persons Flow and Restore Yoga classes Sessions designed to soothe the nervous system and for people who prefer a gentler flow and want to experience inner strength and clarity of mind. Fun fit and games A Thursday morning session from 11.00am-12pm at OK4U Day Centre,Upham Road. Hatha Yoga at Nythe Hatha yoga, meditation and relaxation aimed at adults on a Tuesday night at Nythe Community Centre from 6-7.30 pm, term time only. Health Hydro The Hydro boasts a swimming pool, gym, Turkish Baths and a Natural Health Clinic offering a unique combination of therapies from qualified practitioners. Health Walks We offer a range of sociable walking groups for all abilities - from very gentle walks to power walking - there is something for everyone. OK4U Dance Group A Friday morning dance group taking place at OK4U Upham Road. PILATES (8th June – 6th July) A body-conditioning technique that uses muscle control and precise exercises to strengthen deep muscles supporting posture. Fantastic for making you feel toned and balanced. SALSA (6th June – 4th July) A highly popular form of social dance with strong influences from Latin America. An energetic class where you can dance solo or with a partner. SALTO! An integrated, fun class exploring a range of styles for people with or without any learning or physical disability, with opportunities to perform throughout the year. Steps to Health The Steps to Health scheme promotes better health through physical activity. If your GP believes physical activity will help you, he/she may refer you to the scheme. Sunday Soccer The first Sunday of every month at 3pm on Edinburgh Street rec anyone over 15 who wants to play a social game of football is welcome to come and join us Swindon Bats A sports and social club for visually impaired people. Swindon Rockets One of only two clubs in the Southwest of England, who play the exciting sport of powerchair football, aimed at children and adults with physical disabilities.
